NICOLE SCHMIDT

We hear you like to travel, what is your favorite place to visit?
– New York City is one of my favorite places ever to exist. I’m also lucky enough to call it my hometown. The energy that intertwines between the skyscrapers and rises from the concrete is unmatched. Everything about New York City is extraordinary. The way the city lights up like a jewelry box at night, the fast-paced lifestyle, and its diverse culture are all encapsulated in 22.82 square miles.

Tell us about Ruby and Ralphie
– My little angels! Ruby is my 6-year-old Siberian Forrest cat who is 90% fluffy fur, and Ralphie is my long boy, a 14-week long-haired miniature dachshund. Ruby was adopted from the Jax Humane Society back in 2018, and she saves me every single day. I have never met a cat that is so sweet and loving and acts so much like a lap dog. She is my fluffy best friend. Ralphie, on the other hand, has mastered the puppy dog eyes and just radiates manipulation. I love him to bits. This is my first experience with a puppy, and I feel like I am a mother to a toddler, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
