What’s your favorite aspect about working here?
Definitely the people — just working with the rest of our team. Having started with Mad Men as a shy intern, I can say that it took me a little bit of time to get to know everybody here on an individual basis. But now I can say with certainty that I couldn’t be more grateful to work with a team that is as creative, collaborative, and fun as this one.
Why should clients choose to work with Mad Men Marketing?
Mad Men is all about taking the concept of a marketing agency to the next level. Without trying to go above and beyond, cookie-cutter will only get you so far. Here at Mad Men, we don’t just focus on a client’s product, values, or brand identity — we take all of those ideas and really try to infuse them into new, innovative projects, as well as new methods of reaching audiences on a personal level.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Most days you can find me reading, playing/singing music, or embroidering on the couch while I watch Netflix. I also spend some of my time volunteering at my local library, and most weekends you can probably find me playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends or doing yoga.
If you were to write a book, what would it be titled?
“Not As Stuffy As You Thought: Western Music History in Layman’s Terms”
(No seriously, though, music history is hilarious and weird and wonderful and you should totally go read more about it.)
Have you always wanted to be a writer?
Not exactly. I always knew I loved writing, but I didn’t begin to shape what “being a writer” looked like or meant to me until later on in college. But writing was always there for me and, not only am I glad to have fallen in love with it, but I feel thankful for the opportunity to continue growing through the variety of writing mediums utilized in marketing!
